We understand airflow and the details to maintain flow attachment, flow development and optimal flow velocities. However we also use advanced computational fluid dynamics analysis to simulate flow in designs before making the first prototype. Analysis embedded into the design process provides efficiencies when inventing solutions that never existed.
Failure is not an option. Frequently over-designed is not an option either so optimization of components to handle actual operating loads is critical to balance both margin of safety and reduced material requirements. We predict stress concentrations and issues with designs or manufacturing requirements during the design process.
When necessary we also analyze modal, burst and thermal conditions as required by the project. We perform various classical and 1D simulation analysis and access resources as needed for GT Power, combustion and dynamic flow simulation.
